We are a family run restaurant, taking great pride in providing amazing food to Hampton Roads. Since 2009 we have been smoking all our meat in house, cooking sides from scratch, and making all of our rubs and sauces. In 2011 we had the priveledge of being featured on an episode of Diner’s, Drive-ins, and Dives on the Food Network and we haven’t slowed down since!

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I make reservations?
Reservations are not needed! We are a casual, quick service restaurant with limited seating that is avaialble on a first come, first serve basis.
I want to buy meat by the pound for a large group, how much do you recommend?
We sell most of our meats and sides by the pint (1 pound) or quart (2 pounds). Each pint will provide 3 to 4 servings, while each quart will provide 6 to 8 servings. For more information, please refer to the “Bulk” section of our menu.
Do I need to call in large bulk orders in advance?
It is not required, but always encouraged. Because we prepare our menu items fresh daily we cannot guarantee we will always have all items available, though we do our best!
A member of our party has allergies, can you accomodate?
Happy to do so! Our recipe book is always on hand in the restaurant for a managers on duty to refer to as needed. For some of the more common allergies, here’s a couple quick notes:
-All of our meats and sauces are gluten free!
-We use nuts in our Chocolate Chip and Pecan cookies as well as the PB&J sandwich from the kids menu
-We use dairy in our Mashed Potatoes, Gravy, Mac & Cheese, and cornbread.
